Jeff Miller, Executive Vice President and COO

As COO, Mr. Miller oversees the business operations of the Company on a daily basis, including accounting, HR, contracts and billing. In addition, Jeff directs the sales efforts of XR1 and played a critical leadership role in developing the successful telemarketing model on which the Company’s success is based.
Prior to assuming the COO role, he directed the Sales and Quality Assurance operations of the company during its largest sales campaigns and completely revamped the sales and verification process. Similarly, since becoming COO, he has restructured the primary operational systems of the company – such as accounting – to reduce costs and dramatically improve efficiency.

Mr. Miller has been with the Company since 1996. In addition to his operational duties, he has produced some of the Company’s most memorable multimedia events – including interactive chats with US Senator Fred Thompson (TN) and former Alabama governor, George Wallace. Jeff also manages the company’s longstanding relationship with the Alabama state government – for example, XR1 makes the Alabama Commercial Code available on-line, on behalf of the Legislature.

Before joining the Company, his previous experience included successfully leading several large technology projects for state governments, including the Alabama State Docks, the Alabama Department of Community Affairs and the Alabama Department of Tourism, as well helping many local governments obtain and manage federal funding. Jeff is a 1985 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
